Job Description:
This role is responsible for
involvement throughout the monitoring lifecycle – understand requirements,
create and review scripts, deploy in production and real-time maintenance. This
role shall drive through providing excellent customer experience by continuous
improvement.
Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for implementing and adapting
Agile processes within the team focusing on the development, deployment and
maintenance of automation bots and scripts. This includes ensuring a strong
emphasis on quality assurance while efficiently tracking progress and
improvements.
Candidate is expected to define and deliver innovative
automated solutions that enhance current quality assurance practices and
integrate seamlessly into existing workflows. The role requires a creative approach
to problem solving and a commitment to continuous improvement through
automation.
Candidate will actively manage relationships with both
business and technical stakeholders to ensure all requirements and expectations
are accurately understood and met. Effective stakeholder communication and
coordination are essential components of this responsibility.
Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, target
oriented environment with a strong focus on timelines and deliverables. The ability
to remain flexible and perform well under pressure is key.
Candidate must be a self motivated and collaborative team
player, capable of working efficiently with highly skilled resources. They
should bring a positive attitude and willingness to support team goals.
Candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong curiosity and
keenness for exploration especially in learning and adapting to new
technologies that can improve current systems or processes.
Candidate should possess efficient communication skills both
verbal and written to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members and
clients ensuring clarity and alignment at all stages of the project.
Candidate will have the opportunity to work across various
applications for multiple clients including mobile platforms such as iOS and
Android as well as all major web browsers gaining diverse hands on experience.
Candidate must be open to travel as required, particularly
to client locations, demonstrating flexibility and a professional approach when
working on site.
Detailed
Eligibility & Qualification:
Candidate will be responsible for resolving and deploying a
designated number of tickets on a daily basis, ensuring that each ticket is
addressed within the specified timelines. The candidate must also guarantee
that resolutions are delivered accurately and in strict adherence to
organizational processes and standards.
Candidate is expected to maintain adherence to assigned
rosters and schedules, demonstrating reliability and accountability. The
candidate should actively work toward the continuous upgrade of both personal
and team skills, contributing to the overall capability and performance of the
unit.
Candidate will be evaluated against Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) i.e quality maintenance and organizational process adherence.
This includes timely leave applications, maintaining attendance discipline and
participating in skill enablement activities such as LINQ certifications and
organization-led learning programs.
Candidate must successfully complete the mandatory training
and certifications required for the DEM Technology role including both
classroom and on-the-job training assessments provided by the Learning and
Development (LnD) and Technology teams.
Candidate can expect career progression from the role of
Trainee Automation Engineer to Automation Engineer with opportunities for
internal job rotations across different functions within the organization,
fostering professional growth and skill diversification.
Candidate should possess a graduate degree BE/B.Tech (IT),
BSc/MSc (IT) or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks across all academic
levels. Up to 6 months of relevant experience is acceptable for this entry level
role.
Candidate is expected to demonstrate technical competency in
Core Java or Python along with working knowledge of tools and technologies i.e.
Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, AutoIT, TestNG, Sikuli, HTML, JavaScript,
DOM and SQL.
Candidate must exhibit strong behavioural and soft skills
including effective verbal and written communication and the ability to clearly
articulate ideas and solutions to both technical and non technical
stakeholders.
